Me and 'Dog'

'Dog' used to have a name, but I always refer to him as 'Dog' for the simple reason when my Mum took the label off his ear I forgot what it said. Dog is the only cuddly toy that made it with me on my journey from home to university and since then has lived on my bed.

One of my strong memories of time me and Dog spent together is a family trip to visit my aunt and uncle in the New Forest. They live in a very secluded cottage right in the middle of the forest, in which not only do horses and cattle roam free so do dinosaurs according to my Aunty Carol. When me and my brother didn't not believe her she and my dad took us, including Dog and my brother's Panda, for a walk into the woods to see the dinosaur prints. Dog and me were a bit scared about meeting the dinosaurs but luckily they were all on holiday too. Oliver, my brother, and Panda didn't believe it but me and Dog did. We were very glad to get home without bumping into any dinosaurs.

I can't work out how to post a new post, so I shall leave this as a comment.

I have a teddy bear called Edward, who was bought for me when I was born. My brother has a similar teddy, also called Edward (don't ask me why, I don't know), which was given to him when he was born.

Our bears would have adventures (and more often, arguments) all the time, we loved them. But, for my brother and I, the best bear was Fred.

Fred was my dad's teddy bear, since he was a little kid. He was battered and torn, so we weren't allowed to play with him very often, but when my brother or I were sick, if we were really feeling poorly, we would be allowed to have Fred in our beds at night, and we firmly believed that during the night, Fred would do some magic, and make us better.

We always felt better in the morning.

I used to have a bear. it wasn't a teddy bear. well technically it was... it was a panda bear, a sylvanian families one...really tiny and cute. Everywhere i went, she went. her name was pandora. and in every room in the house there was a mini-room set up for her! even the bathroom. and i made all her furniture for her and she loved it. we went to see my cousins on the train, and i bought a portable mini-chair for her, made out of left over biscuit packets i think! and put her on the ledge by the window, but when I got off the train she wasn't in my pocket, she was waving me goodbye!!!i never saw her again!

Sorry about that. Here we go again:

I have a teddy bear rather inventively called Tigger. You can probably guess what he is. He's the only one I brought to uni with me. He's old and very worn, and there are a few stains which I have no idea where they came from but I'm a little scared to try and wash them out.

He was my older brothers initially but I inherited him at some point down the line. My younger sister had him too but eventually he found his way back to me. I remember there were more than a few arguments about that, we all wanted him to be ours. I always imagine him to be quite wise, especially as he got older and more worn with a rather dry sense of humour. He's watched over all the children in my family, lived in both houses with us and even gone on some sleepovers when I was much younger.

As he's taken up residence by my pillow at the moment, here are two pictures:
